Admiralty publications are the de facto standard for deep sea commercial shipping and are designed to comply with all IMO and flag requirements. They provide worldwide coverage and are prepared by professional cartographers of substantial experience. As well as Sailing Directions, Radio Signals and Lights a variety of other publications including Tidal information are published by the Admiralty and are distributed by Riviera Charts.
Each volume of Sailing Directions contains quality colour photography and views, as well as information on navigational hazards, buoyage, meteorological data, details of pilotage, regulations, port facilities and guides to major port entry. New Editions are published on a regular basis and integrate significant information previously issued via the Admiralty Notices to Mariners weekly bulletin in section IV.
List of Lights
The Admiralty List of Lights is organised into twelve volumes which provide comprehensive information lighthouses, lightships, lit floating marks (over 8m high), fog signals and other lights of navigational significance. New Editions are published annually and integrate all information previously published via the Admiralty Notices to Mariners weekly bulletin in section V.
The Admiralty List of Radio Signals is organised into six volumes which provide comprehensive information on all aspects of Maritime Radio Communications including a listing of stations handling Maritime Public Correspondence, radio stations broadcasting weather services and forecasts, details in Global Satellite Position Fixing Systems and so on. New Editions are published annually and integrate all information previously published via the Admiralty Notices to Mariners weekly bulletin in section VI.
